How to upgrade Adobe Acrobat in CS4, if returns error 16820?

I installed a Adobe Creative Suite 4, web premium, in a computer with native Windows XP Professional.

First, I had this suite in another computer with a Windows XP encapsulated in a Virtual Box machine with native Ubuntu, but the virtual machine falls after it runs a long time. I cannot uninstall this suite from the virtual machine.

After, I executed Adobe.com and the program says that need a mandatory upgrade for Adobe Acrobat, but returns error 16820.

I call to Adobe technical service by telephone and the operator says that I need to configure the folders Adobe PCD and SLStore

explained in the web Error de configuración 16 | CC, CS

I follow the instructions but the error returns another time.

How I can continue?
