Recently updated to Yosemite and now I cannot import gifs into photoshop

So I FINALLY bit the bullet and updated my mac to Yosemite.  But now I am unable to import gifs into photoshop (CS4).

I've gone through several different forums, some talk about updating plug-ins, others talk about importing gifs different ways, but so far I haven't found anything that works.
