Was working well in Premiere Pro CC, editing and occasionally exporting work here and there, and suddenly a whole host of issues struck. Choppy preview playback (at best) in the timeline, hour-long export times (once ten to 15 minutes for similar work) and then finding audio in the exported file replaced by screeching techno-music sounds. Attempts to "render selection" met with "unknown compile errors". I'm not experienced enough to know the potential problems, but I seem to be using only 4 or 5 of the 8G of RAM when I am trying to preview video. I have tried to get a grasp of the audio and video export setting options, etc., but these weren't issues that I had before. Lost and wasting tons of time trying to get back on track.
