That partially solved the problem.
Her solution is for v.12, and apparently v.9 does not reside in the task
manager
or msconfig, as I could not find it in either location. (I am familiar
with both
areas, so am failrly certain they are not in there).
But I did add the spaces in its location in Program Files, and that
stopped the
analyzer from running when it opens.
But the analyzer still appears each time after I stop capture, and I
still have to
cancel it out every time. It just doesn't run when it appears.
There must be something different in v.9 to enable us to keep the analyzer
from popping up.
But at least this gives me more time to cancel the analyzer after I stop
capture,
as it's not actually running. Sure would like to eliminate it from
popping up, though.
