This incident has certainly changed the way people look at things.
Over the last couple of years I have been spending untold hours watching photography tutorials and critiques, and since this happened, the hosts of these shows can't say enough about how they don't like to see pictures of people on train tracks. It used to be a common thing for photographers apparently. No more. Now people will look at pictures of people on train tracks with disdain.
Hopefully at least some people will learn from this.
