Re: Setting higher MAX resolution in CS6: HOW?

I don't want to go back to an older version, but I am shocked that this recent version (CS6), has limitations on the resolution offered. Again, we NEVER get a prompt like this on CS4 or 5.

We work with very new laser digital presses that offer the high 10,000 resolutions. It only has recently been achieved; our images are not full color or 'pictures'. Rather, they are mapped pixel images where every placement of pixel colors count. The higher resolution, the more we can play with the manipulation of pixels and in turn, where there is ink/etchings on a press. It's difficult to explain, but we need the ability to have hi-res files that work on these new microprint machines.

I just want to know why new versions have a max pixel setting. CS4/5 have never cared what kind of file you make, if you have the computing power. Our machine is a Mac Pro running on Yosemite with a 6-core Intel processor at 3.7GHz with 24GB of ram. That should be more than enough.
