Hello,
I recently got a new computer with Windows 8.1 installed on it. One of the first things I did was install Firefox (version 34.0.5). From there I installed Adobe Flash version 16.0.0.235.
It worked fine for about two weeks before it started to continuously crash on me. If my computer goes to sleep or doesn't have anything active going on for a couple of hours, whenever I try to watch a video on YouTube using flash, it crashes. I have absolutely no idea if this is related or can help with a resolution, but the same happens with Minecraft (using Java SE 8 25 11.25.2.18) and Netflix videos (not the program itself, just the vids - which use Silverlight 5.1.30514.0). I'm not sure if Minecraft draws off of flash in some way, but those seem to be the only ones that have this problem. I know it's not a compatibility error as I have the same things on my Tablet and Netflix/YouTube work fine (don't have minecraft installed).
I'm sick and tired of having to restart my computer every couple of hours or when I want to watch a video; so tonight I went on the web and searched for fixes (without restarting my computer). I have been at this for two and a half hours and have found NOTHING that works, via community discussions, or basic Firefox fixes.
Please help.
