Standard Sony EX files are in a MP4 wrapper, these have imported fine for me in all versions of Premiere (except for a couple of issues with spanned files in the early versions). The trouble people seem to be having is when the file is wrapped in a MOV wrapper. This was produced by some JVC cameras that used SXS cards to record on. If the problem files are from a Sony camera, is there some sort of conversion that people have done to get it into the MOV format? If we know the details we might be able to help. Could someone Dropbox an example so I can look at it.
