nothing above worked, when I tried to sign in to the ADOBE ID I got 4 little square boxes endlessly circling, one of them was blue. The only way to stop this process is go to task manager and END PROCESS. The ADOBE ID worked months ago to get PHOTOSHOP ELEMENTS 12 started. Then it worked recently to get the editor portion of PHOTOSHOP ELEMENTS 12 started. In the process above after changing those mentioned files I had to reinstall premiere elements with kaspersky turned off and I also turned SPYBOT off, but it did not help.
